Tim and Wendy Maddock’s journey in foreign missions began in 1985 in Samoa and later Fiji, where their family expanded with the arrivals of Caleb and Shannon. In 1992, following divine guidance, they relocated to war-torn Cambodia to work with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency. During this period, Tim received a bold vision to reside in the Cambodian countryside, relying on God's provision for both their family and ministry. Establishing SALT Ministries - Cambodia in 1996, the Maddocks family concentrated on preparing Seventh-day Adventist Church members to be church planters and aiding in church establishments in north-west Cambodia. Alongside founding schools, an orphanage, and a media center, they also created a butterfly garden as part of their family-led mission work for the Cambodian people.
